Last Updated: January 28, 2026

Welcome to Rebel Music (“Rebel Music”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account, uploading music, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Rebel Music, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using our services.

2. Our Services

Rebel Music provides digital music distribution services that enable artists and rights holders to deliver their music to streaming platforms and digital stores, including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other supported platforms.

We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify supported stores at any time without prior notice.

3. Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of your music and intellectual property.

By uploading content to Rebel Music, you grant us the necessary non-exclusive rights to distribute, deliver, administer, and monetize your content through our distribution partners and digital platforms.

You confirm that:

  • You own or control all necessary rights.
  • Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws and DSP guidelines.

4. Revenue Share

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Artists retain 90% of all eligible royalties.
  • Rebel Music retains 10% to cover operational, platform, distribution, customer support, and administrative costs.

In exceptional circumstances, including fraud investigations, platform penalties, excessive payment processing costs, chargebacks, or violations of DSP policies, Rebel Music reserves the right to adjust the revenue share for the affected release(s).

Under no circumstances will the artist receive less than 70% of eligible royalties.

5. Royalty Reporting

Royalty reports are provided based on data received from our distribution partners and digital stores.

Reporting schedules vary by platform and may be delayed due to reporting cycles beyond Rebel Music’s control.

Rebel Music cannot guarantee reporting dates published by third-party services.

6. Payout Requests

Artists may request a payout after meeting the minimum payout threshold displayed within their account.

All payout requests are processed within up to sixty (60) calendar days from the date the payout request is submitted.

This processing period allows Rebel Music to:

  • verify royalty reports,
  • complete fraud prevention procedures,
  • reconcile payments received from distribution partners,
  • perform accounting verification,
  • comply with financial and tax obligations,
  • ensure payment accuracy.

Although many payouts may be completed sooner, the maximum processing period is 60 calendar days.

Submitting a payout request does not guarantee immediate payment.

7. Fraud Prevention

Rebel Music has a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Artificial streaming
  • Fake playlists
  • Bot-generated streams
  • Manipulated downloads
  • Royalty fraud
  • Identity fraud
  • Metadata manipulation

If fraudulent activity is detected or reasonably suspected, Rebel Music may:

  • suspend releases,
  • delay payments,
  • request identity verification,
  • remove content,
  • permanently terminate accounts,
  • cooperate with DSPs and legal authorities where required.

8. Account Verification

Rebel Music may request identity verification (KYC) before approving releases or processing royalty payments.

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in delayed distribution, delayed payments, account suspension, or account termination.

9. Content Review

All releases are subject to quality control.

Rebel Music reserves the right to reject, delay, edit metadata, or remove any release that:

  • violates copyright,
  • contains misleading metadata,
  • impersonates another artist,
  • violates DSP guidelines,
  • contains prohibited or illegal material.

10. Availability of Services

While we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, Rebel Music cannot guarantee continuous availability.

Maintenance, technical issues, distribution partner outages, or force majeure events may temporarily affect service availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebel Music shall not be liable for:

  • delayed royalty reports,
  • delayed DSP deliveries,
  • platform outages,
  • lost profits,
  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • actions taken by streaming platforms.

Our liability shall never exceed the amount of royalties actually received by Rebel Music relating to the affected release.

12. Termination

Artists may request account closure at any time.

Rebel Music reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or DSP requirements.

Termination does not affect any outstanding legal obligations or unresolved royalty matters.

13. Changes to These Terms

Rebel Music reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Material changes will become effective once published on our website.

Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law
