Release Takedown Request
Use this form to request removal of a release that has already been delivered to digital service providers (DSPs).
This administrative service is only for releases that have already been delivered to or published on DSPs. If your release is still a draft, pending review, or has not yet been delivered, do not pay this fee. Contact Rebel Music Support first.
Digital-store takedowns require manual administrative processing. Our team must verify the release identifiers and request details, confirm the removal scope, prepare and route the request through our distribution network, communicate with distribution/DSP support when required, and track the request through completion. The €5.00 fee covers this administrative work; it is separate from Rebel Music's free music distribution service.
- A takedown request does not remove a release instantly. DSP processing times vary and removal can take several days, and in some cases around 10 days.
- Once Rebel Music has submitted the request for processing, the €5.00 administrative processing fee is non-refundable.
- If you plan to upload a corrected version, you may usually prepare or submit the new version without waiting for every DSP to finish the previous takedown.
- Submitting a takedown does not guarantee that historical links, cached pages, user-created playlists, or third-party references disappear immediately.
